Does this sound familiar?

✔️ You're ready for an orchestra job, but you're totally overwhelmed by auditioning

✔️ You've taken auditions but you haven't even made it out of the first round

✔️ You didn't get the tools you needed to win a job when you were in school

I hear you. I've totally been there myself, and I can show you what to do.

Introducing the Audition Starter Kit, Vol. 1

It took me about 40 auditions and two decades to learn these techniques. Why so long? Because I had to do it all myself.

I love sharing this information with ambitious musicians so they can go farther, faster, and with less wasted time and money.

Investment: $147

In this online video series you will:

Learn the game changing concepts and techniques that I wish someone had taught me when I was figuring out auditions. Topics include:

  • Video #1: The real reason auditions are so hard to win

  • Video #2: How to get better in less practice time

  • Video #3: How to sound great, even when you're nervous

  • Video #4: The RIGHT way to use a recording device

  • Video #5: The reasons your mock auditions aren't making you better

Who Needs My Videos?

They're not for everyone. I want to help you reach your goals, but I can't do the work for you.

This course is not a magic wand. I created these for any instrumentalist (or singer) who is a serious college student or auditioning professional* and who:

- Is willing to work hard for their dreams

- Wants to learn more music in less time

- Wants to see what it really takes to get into an orchestra

*High school students might be able to benefit, but the videos require more strategy and organization than most high school students are used to.

Meet your audition coach

Christopher Still is a trumpet player with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He loves his job, but he didn't enjoy the late nights, missed vacations, and other sacrifices it took to get there.

Seriously, Chris went through about 40 auditions, three degrees, years of dedication, and house-sized amounts of money before reaching the LA Phil.

This sounds extreme, but it's pretty common among players in major orchestras (especially members of the woodwind, brass, and percussion sections).

In this series, Chris shares a new way of thinking about practice and time management so you can do better, years faster than he did. These techniques are critical for auditioners, but they work for ANYONE who wants to get more done in less time.

Short and Powerful

This series contains A TON of my biggest ideas.

Learning them is easy. Implementing them takes time, which is why I want you to be able to listen over and over.

  • Listen

Listen to each video closely, absorbing the basic concepts.

  • Strategize

Grab a pencil and paper and complete each video's exercise.

  • Implement and Repeat

Go and do it! Refine what works, and think about what doesn't. Watch again and again.

What people are saying

““After working through only one course with Chris, I went from being frustrated and never getting past prelims, to advancing to the semifinals for a major symphony orchestra position.

He is one of the premiere audition strategists and thinkers out there. I am a firm believer in the content he produces, his passion to help other musicians, and himself as an individual."”

Bryce, Honesty Pill Client

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

-Albert Einstein, who probably wasn't talking about musicians, but this totally applies.

For years, I took audition after audition without a clear plan. Let me help YOU learn from MY mistakes.

I did it the hard way, so you don't have to.
